A Master's in Theoretical Physics was training in rigorous, analytical thinking. I learned to deconstruct reality before I started rebuilding it for the screen.
Founding a VFX boutique was a crash course in the collision of art and technology. We turned impossible scripts into visual evidence, proving that if you can imagine it, we can render it.
I went to Afghanistan and Somalia with the UNDP, not for the thrill, but for the truth. We told stories that didn't just move audiences—they moved resources, helping secure vital funding for nations in transition.
I trained over 150 filmmakers, not just in the mechanics of a camera, but in the architecture of a scene. We built a generation of storytellers who understood that every frame must earn its place.
The casting process was archaic, so I decided to fix it. StreetKast was my first venture—a digital bridge connecting street talent with creators. It was about democratizing opportunity and proving that the best casting director is a well-designed algorithm.
The war imposed by russia onto Ukraine necessitated a move to Amsterdam. I brought my experience to a new market, turning a forced relocation into an expansion of scope. New city, same relentless drive.
I led the charge into Virtual Production, where real-time rendering meets live-action. We used AI and game engines to shoot the impossible in-camera, saving time, money, and the director's sanity.
As Creative Director of AI Technologies, I bridge the gap between abstract creative desires and technical realities. It is about implementing intelligent systems that don't just solve problems but elevate the entire production workflow.
BS Films
Short films are the R&D of cinema. I co-founded BS Films to give them a home, creating a streaming platform that champions the independent voices the majors ignore.
CrewShift
The unsexy truth of filmmaking: it's a logistics nightmare. CrewShift is the answer - a digital solution for on-set time tracking and invoicing. We automated the headache so the crew could focus on the shot.
